Copyright Laws

For this course we had the copyright reading to review. I never have had to ask permission to use a copyright. I have used citations to give credit to authors, but that was about the extent I would say I have used. I learned a lot of new information. I knew basic copyright laws, but the reading was so detailed, I was introduced to a variety of new areas of interest. It was interesting to see what constitutes a copyright exactly. I learned the importance of copyright laws and the penalties imposed if you violate any of them. I also learned how to ask permission to use items that may be copyrighted. The powerpoint presentation I created is actually something I could use to present the information to others.It was also a nice way to practice my powerpoint skills since I was not creating any over the summer while by the pool!
